Aerosol as an Extinguishing Agent for Inland and Offshore Shipping

Whether for new constructions or retrofits, an EH Marine fire suppression systemcan be quickly integrated into an existing engine room concept.

This fire suppression system, in combination with the certified marine control panel, meets all ES-TRIN and DNV-GL requirements. According to the required guidelines, the compact control cabinet (200x200x110 mm) is installed outside the protected area.

To ensure safe operation in all cases, the control panel is electrically connected to the extinguishing generators and detectors, which are installed in the protected and monitored area, via double loops. Due to the electrical connection through small sub-stations, the EH Marine system is easy and quick to install.

The size and number of modularly installed extinguishing generators depend on the space to be protected. This flexibility allows the EH Marine system to adapt easily to challenging and more complex installation situations.

In addition to fire and flame detectors, the system can be equipped with up to 8 smoke detectors.

EH-Marine Fire Suppression System:

  2. Substation
The link between the marine control panel and each individual extinguishing generator.

  3. Extinguishing Generators
The size and number of modularly installed extinguishing generators are determined by the space to be protected.

  4. Signal Device
For alerting in case of fire – both acoustically and visually.

  5. Smoke Detectors
Optionally expandable with up to 8 smoke detectors.

  6. Ship Connection Cable
    To connect all components.
